Fin's 3D Prints

Hi, I'm Fin.

I'm 11, I live in Glasgow, and I make all of this stuff myself.

How it started

I got into 3D printing when I was 9. My dad helped me set up the printer but I quickly took over — now he mostly just helps with the postage. I started by printing random things I found online, but then I got into designing my own stuff using Fusion 360 and TinkerCAD.

My first proper design was an articulated dragon. It took about twelve attempts to get the joints right. When it finally worked and wiggled properly I literally ran downstairs to show my mum. That's when I thought maybe other people would want one too.

What I make

Everything in the shop is something I designed myself. I like making things that move — articulated animals are my favourite because the engineering is tricky. I also make fidget toys because I find them useful at school, and practical stuff like phone stands and cable clips because they're actually helpful.

I print using PLA filament. It's biodegradable and comes in loads of colours. Each order gets printed fresh for you — I don't keep a big stock of stuff because I like making things to order so they feel a bit more personal.

The grown-up bit

My dad supervises the business side of things and handles the money. All payments go through Stripe which is a proper secure payment company — I never see your card details. If you have any questions or something goes wrong with an order, drop us a message on the contact page and we'll sort it out quickly.

Thanks for supporting my shop. It genuinely means a lot.
